John Agapakis
Director, Traceability Product Management

John is currently the Director of Product Management at OMRON Microscan and has previously served as OMRON Automation Americas’ Director of Traceability Business Development and earlier as Director of Advanced Sensing. Prior to OMRON, John has held various executive positions at Microscan including VP of Sales for the Americas and Asia Pacific, at Siemens as Machine Vision Business Manager and RVSI Acuity CiMatrix as GM/SVP Products. John’s educational background includes a Ph.D. in Vision Guided Robotics from MIT, executive education programs at MIT’s Sloan School of Management and Harvard Business School and more recently specializations in Machine Learning/Deep Learning technologies.

Jason Mack

Advanced Sensing Sales Manager

Jason Mack is the Advanced Sensing Sales Manager responsible for traceability solutions across the Americas. He joined Omron in 2013 after starting his career with Keyence and Pepperl and Fuchs. Over the last 10 years he has served multiple roles across the organization focused around barcode reading and machine vision products. He is passionate about finding new ways traceability can improve our everyday lives.

Semicondutor and Electronics Manager, Strategic Marketing

Aurelio Delgado got his start in industrial automation as an intern for Omron in 2015. He holds a dual degree in Mechanical Engineering and Entrepreneurship and joined Omron to pursue a role in sales.  Today, Aurelio has brought his know-how to the Strategic Marketing group as an Industry Marketing Manager covering the Semiconductor and Electronics industries.   Aurelio has a fierce enthusiasm for sales, finance and marketing.  He is currently pursuing his MBA in finance making him a triple-threat resource for his customers and team members alike.

Rex Keihl

Automation Training Leader and Certified Functional Safety Expert 

Rex Keihl is a Certified Functional Safety Expert and an Automation training leader at The Omron Corporation, responsible for educating and assisting customers in the application and integration of safety automation products into their processes. He has a strong and diverse background history for over 30 years in the industrial automation helping design and improve processes utilizing the latest industrial products as they become available for use. He has a degree in applied management, electrical engineering, and has been an instructor at Wright State University in addition to being certified under TÜV (Reinland) as one of a few Functional Experts of today ( #10445/15 Machinery). He also sits on several ANSI B11 standard committees and participates on the ISO TC199 WG-6 international standard committee for guarding designs. Keihl builds rapport with diverse audiences and helps them gain the mastery of standards and regulations while simplifying the complicated world of the safety with automated control needed to make impactful change in their facilities.

Paul Anderson

Technical Manager - Americas application engineering.

Paul Anderson leads the Americas application engineering team with over 20 years of technical automation experience.  Paul holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and MBA in Finance. He is revered in the industry for his top skill in motion control and product development.  Paul resolves the most complex customer challenges with an approach that builds confidence and direction to everyone around him.

Mohammad El-Naji, P.Eng, FS Eng
(TÜV Rheinland, #21790/ 21, Machinery), Safety and Advanced Services AE Supervisor

Mohammad El-Naji, Safety and Advanced Services AE Supervisor covers the Omron Americas territory with 20 years experience as an Application Engineer working in diverse industries most notably Automotive, Pharma, Logistics and Nuclear.  He also has 12 years as a FS Eng (TUV SUD and Rheiland).

Mark Noschang

Applications Engineering Manager for Robotic Solutions

Mark Noschang is the AE Manager for Robotic Solutions for Omron. He started with Adept Technology in 1997 as an Applications Engineer and has over 25 years of experience with robotics and vision applications in the Automotive, Medical, Packaging, Electronics and Food Handling industries. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati in Electrical Engineering focusing on Systems Engineering. Mark is responsible for coordinating the nationwide engineering efforts focusing on training, feasibility studies, trade-show demos and proof-of-concepts as well as providing customer support and application development. He manages the Robotics Applications Engineering Group from the Omron Proof-of-Concept Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.

This is an invite only event, please contact your Omron sales professional or Authorized Distributor to register.

Do I have to attend the guided tours?

No, our Omron Proof of Concept Centers will be open the entire event with technical experts. You can visit the Omron PoCC anytime throughout the day. 

Is it possible to arrive at the event at any time during the day?

While it's ideal to be present when the event begins for the best experience, you are welcome to join us at any point throughout the day.

What is the dress code?

Can I bring in a current problem my company is facing for a proof of concept?

Yes, please work with your local distributors and we will provide a custom schedule for you. (This is our "VIP Experience")

Will I be able to view sessions from other cities?
